Ties that Bind:
(Re)Viewing & (Re)Creating Connections for Flourishing
Friday, March 11, 1:15-2:10
Since its outbreak, the COVID-19 pandemic has led to disruption and forced change in the lives and circumstances of people around the globe. For most, this has included diminished and altered contact with friends, family, and colleagues; for many it has also meant loss, loneliness, and seriously fractured well-being. Teachers and students have not been exempt. What can we do to be agents of change and facilitate conditions for flourishing? During this talk we will explore what it means to be connected, disconnected, reconnected, and interconnected. Drawing on Kingdom principles and coaching perspectives, we will consider key practices outside and inside the classroom that can facilitate strong ties and create connections for flourishing.
