Our theme for CELT 2025 is “Rooted in Truth: Teaching English through a Biblical Lens in a Changing World.” Colossians 2:6-7 urges us, “Therefore, as you received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in him, rooted and built up in him and established in the faith, just as you were taught, abounding in thanksgiving.”
As the world faces constant change—socially, culturally, and technologically—our calling as Christian English educators remains steadfast: to be rooted in God’s Word. For CELT 2025, we will have presentations from diverse perspectives, teaching contexts, and areas of focus, aimed at exploring how English language educators can embody and convey God's love for all.
All presentations include a clear Christian perspective and may highlight theory, research, or practice; alternatively, they may focus on educational, linguistic, cultural, practical, or spiritual issues related to English language teaching. A full schedule will be posted soon.
